Research Chemist

On behalf of our client, a leading agritech organization, we are seeking a Research Scientist to support innovative research and development activities. In this role, you will contribute to advancing projects from discovery through to development by delivering target molecules in a safe, efficient, and sustainable manner.

• Execute synthetic routes independently, ensuring safety, efficiency, and sustainability. 
• Design and optimise synthetic pathways using scientific expertise and digital tools. 
• Conduct risk assessments of experiments and materials. 
• Accurately document and communicate experimental work to ensure reproducibility and data integrity. 
• Troubleshoot and resolve synthetic chemistry challenges within project teams. 
• Stay up to date with modern synthetic methods and emerging technologies. 
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of laboratory practices, safety, and productivity. 

• Master’s degree in Synthetic Chemistry, or 3–5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of synthetic organic chemistry.
• Proficiency with software tools for synthesis planning and data analysis. 
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
