As the premier supplier to our client, a leading commodities company based in Switzerland, Swisslinx is looking for a highly motivated individual to take on a challenging role as a Business Objects Developer for a permanent role onsite 4 days a week.
Our client is looking for someone with 1-2 years’ experience (NOT Senior) who has a proactive attitude, willingness to learn and a team player. This role would join a team of 4 specifically focused on data visualization.

Key responsibilities:
- Definition, Design and development of BO Universes and Reports (WebI, Crystal and Dashboards)
- Working with internal stakeholders to elicit requirements and delivering effective technical solutions
- Assisting in the administration of the BO system, repository, and security model, as well as patching and upgrades.
- Providing support to end-users and other BO development teams.

Your background:
- Ideally has 1-2 years of experience with Business Objects 4.x architecture and its product components. However, a strong willingness to learn and a proactive attitude can compensate for less experience.
- fluency in English (corporate language), both spoken and written.
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills, a customer service mentality, and a hands-on, can-do attitude with a proven track record.
- Possesses a good understanding of Oracle and SQL query writing skills for data analysis/extraction.

- Is open to sharing ideas and engaging in dialog to discover pragmatic solutions.
- Has experience with or is willing to learn other tools like Power BI, Tableau, and Qlik, enhancing our team's diversity in skills and perspectives.
