For our client, we are currently looking for a Formulation Engineer. This is an 8-months contracting position, with option for an extension.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
• Delivers the scale-up of formulation processes from lab to full-scale manufacturing, under the guidance of the Team Leader
• Is part of technology transfer teams for inter-regional transfer or re-siting of products and is the technical lead in product establishment teams, and a member of the technical start-up team for new processes and equipment, manufacturing sites or tollers.
• Designs pilot plant trials and full-scale manufacturing trials - writes operating procedures, trains operating team, provides technical supervision, documents the outcomes and identifies next steps, referring to the Team Leader for guidance
• Generates the process design for CP capital projects, under supervision of the Team Leader
• Applies formulation engineering processing expertise in order to identify solutions that improve capacity, quality, and cost efficiency at manufacturing sites and is a member of the project teams that implement these solutions

Requirements:
• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Applied Chemistry or equivalent professional qualification and / or relevant experience.
• Some relevant experience gained in process development, manufacturing support or as part of a higher qualification in chemical engineering or a closely related subject.
• Creates an environment that supports creativity, transparency, and challenge and coaches people to spark innovation
• Fluent in English, ideally strong German any other language are an asset
