Our client is looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst for our Commercial Insurance IT team. Who will be working with an existing global pricing tool on on-going maintenance releases, production support, and product improvements.
- Elicit, analyze, specify, validate, and document detailed business requirements
- Provide expertise and understand as-is and to-be processes as part of requirements elicitation
- Document and track ongoing tasks
- Identify issues, risks, and benefits of existing and proposed solutions
- Conduct insightful, ad-hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues
- Participate in development of test plans, testing and implementation
- Model business processes and identify opportunities for process improvements
Anforderungen
- Bachelors or master’s degree in business, IT, or another analytical subject
- 5+ Years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience in P&C insurance preferred
- Experience with commercial insurance
- Hands on project experience in Agile (Scrum) projects
- Track record and support sunset mode
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to show initiative
- Analytical thinking and problem solving and affinity for detail, design, quality, process, and occasional trouble shooting
- Positive attitude with ability to adapt in a changing environment
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure
- Great communicator with a collaborative mindset
- Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Ability to think creatively and work collaboratively with teams to solve business challenges
- Fluent in written and spoken English
