Manufacturing Process Engineer

Our client is seeking an experienced Production Industrialization Engineer to join a global product creation environment. In this role, you will act as a key interface between engineering and operations, ensuring that manufacturing processes are successfully designed, implemented, and validated across international production sites. The position requires strong technical expertise, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to bridge project requirements with operational realities on the shop floor.

• Lead process industrialization as a core team member in product creation projects, representing production processes throughout the development lifecycle
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Equipment Engineering, Quality, IT, and Operations
• Define process requirements and architectural drivers to support product engineering activities
• Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing process flows for global production environments
• Create technical production line layouts in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
• Lead the implementation and validation of manufacturing processes across international production sites
• Estimate and analyze production process costs
• Own and maintain the manufacturing Bill of Materials (BOM) and Bill of Processes (BOP)
• Drive collaboration between engineering and operations teams throughout industrialization activities
• Ensure alignment between project requirements and shop floor realities
• Support the resolution of operational and project-related challenges in a dynamic manufacturing environment

Professional experience

• Proven experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, or Industrialization
• Strong experience with process validation, PFMEA, control plans, and manufacturing standardization
• Experience working within a global industrial supply chain environment
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and related IT systems
• Experience supporting product industrialization and collaborating with operations teams

Education

• University degree or technical college degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Business Engineering, or a related discipline
• Additional project management qualifications are considered an advantage
• Strong technical understanding of device manufacturing and manufacturing equipment development
• Experience within industries such as household appliances, electronic devices, HVAC field devices, or automotive manufacturing is highly desirable

Language requirements

• English: Business fluent
• German: Very good communication skills
