This newly created position offers the opportunity to take ownership of a growing product line, develop new business opportunities, and strengthen relationships with key customers across the polymer industry. The role combines strategic business development, technical sales, and key account management, with significant visibility and autonomy.

 

The position can be based anywhere in Europe and is fully remote, with regular travel across the region (50% travel).

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and implement the commercial strategy for Hydrotalcite Additives across Europe.
  • Manage and expand relationships with existing customers and distribution partners.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within PVC, CPVC, polyolefins, masterbatch, cable, pipe, profile, film and related polymer applications.
  • Work closely with customers to understand technical requirements and support the positioning of appropriate additive solutions.
  • Coordinate product trials, evaluations and approvals in collaboration with technical and regulatory teams.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and manage pricing, contracts and forecasts.
  • Monitor market developments, industry trends, competitive activities and regulatory changes impacting the sector.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade fairs and customer meetings throughout Europe.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular business updates to senior management.

 

Candidate Profile

 

  • Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Materials Science or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales or business development experience within specialty chemicals, polymer additives, stabilizers or related markets.
  • Experience working with PVC compounders, polymer processors, masterbatch producers, cable manufacturers, pipe producers or distributors is highly desirable.
  • Strong commercial mindset combined with a technical understanding of polymer formulations and additive technologies.
  • Proven ability to develop business, manage key accounts and negotiate commercial agreements.
  • Self-driven and entrepreneurial approach, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Fluent English required; additional European languages would be advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Europe.
