On behalf of our client, a private bank in Zurich, we are currenty looking for a Trading Connectivity Engineer with Omni and AMAS experience to join a long-term contracting opportunity.
In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:
• Technical role, focussing on maintaining a highly complex system environment of Front Arena OMNI/AMAS/AFG and other components
• Align with exchanges, brokers and the external vendor FIS to plan and perform necessary actions (e.g. system upgrades)
• Collaboration in onboarding a new state-of-the-art Execution Management System
• Capture requirements, plan, implement and test the solutions in an agile environment (SAFe)
• Support the business in daily inquiries
The ideal candidate should bring:
• Several years’ experience configuring AMAS / Omni environments
• Working experience with broker platform connectivity
• FIX Protocol knowledge (4.2 & 4.4)
• Knowledge in scripting languages such as Powershell or Python
• Solid understanding of Equity and Fixed Income markets and products
