Domain / Hub-Architect (Private Banking Transformation)

For our client in the private banking sector, we are looking for an experienced Domain / Hub Architect to support the strategic architecture vision within a complex wealth management environment. The role focuses on defining and governing target architectures, ensuring alignment between business and IT, and supporting sustainable, scalable banking platforms. A strong understanding of wealth management processes, European banking regulations, and modern banking technology frameworks is essential.

• Collaborate with Product Management and key stakeholders to shape business and architecture vision
• Define target architectures that are technically and economically feasible
• Ensure architecture deliverables are aligned with enterprise target architecture standards
• Review and approve Solution Blueprints and other architecture-related deliverables
• Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture governance and sustainability principles
• Prepare and manage architecture exception requests where necessary
• Manage application lifecycle and support reduction of architecture debt
• Work closely with global domain architects, system architects, shared services, and enterprise architects
• Contribute to QBR processes and PI planning objectives
• Support teams in defining features and breaking them down into technical stories
• Identify architectural risks, innovation opportunities, and deviations from standards
• Align architecture direction with stakeholders, suppliers, and customers
• Support integration of supplier-delivered capabilities into the architecture landscape

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience as an Architect within IT and/or the financial services sector
• Strong knowledge of wealth management business and banking products/services
• Deep understanding of banking regulatory frameworks and financial services governance
• Strong hands-on experience with Temenos banking software (Transact and/or Triple’A) is mandatory
• Experience with additional banking platforms is considered an advantage
• Strong understanding of enterprise and domain architecture principles
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical mindset and risk awareness
• Fluent English required
