Operation Engineer – (TP7)

Our client is looking for an experienced Operation Engineer to support the operations team in the area of network and security platforms. The position focuses on operational excellence, ITIL-based processes, and infrastructure operations within a complex enterprise environment

• Service, change, and incident management according to ITIL standards using ManageEngine ServiceDesk+
• Operational support and maintenance of network and security platforms
• Handling ticket and operations processes
• Managing and supporting Check Point firewalls, ideally also Fortinet environments
• Cisco Nexus and NDFC operations
• Campus management using Cisco Catalyst Center
• Cisco ISE operations
• Cisco Wireless Controller operations
• Writing and maintaining operational manuals/documentation

Framework details

• Workload: 40% (can potentially increase, but no guarantee)
• Location: On-site in Baden
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 AM – 04:00 PM
• Duration: Until end of 2026

Required skills & experience

• Experience within IT operations environments
• Strong understanding of ITIL-based service operations
• Hands-on experience with ManageEngine ServiceDesk
• Experience with Check Point firewalls; Fortinet knowledge is considered an advantage
• Experience operating Cisco Nexus and NDFC environments
• Knowledge of Cisco Catalyst Center
• Experience with Cisco ISE and Wireless Controller operations
• Ability to create and maintain operational documentation
• Reliable and structured way of working
