Senior Front Arena Developer | Front Office Trading Systems

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a business-critical Front Arena environment, developing and enhancing trading applications that directly support market-making and front-office trading activities. You'll collaborate closely with traders, technology teams and business stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable solutions within a fast-paced capital markets environment.

• Design, develop, test and deploy enhancements within the Front Arena platform.
• Support the ongoing development and optimisation of Front Arena market-making capabilities.
• Integrate Front Arena with upstream and downstream trading and back-office systems.
• Take ownership of critical Front Arena services, ensuring high availability and operational resilience.
• Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues affecting Front Arena applications.
• Contribute to system improvements that enhance platform performance, scalability and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure solutions align with architectural, security and quality standards.
• Support change and release management activities within an Agile delivery environment.
• Work closely with traders, business users and technology teams to deliver high-quality Front Office solutions.

• Degree in Computer Science, Financial Engineering, Financial Mathematics or a related discipline, or equivalent commercial experience.
• Significant hands-on Front Arena development experience within a Front Office environment.
• Strong understanding of capital markets, particularly derivatives and electronic trading.
• Experience developing and supporting Front Arena applications across the software development lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of integrating Front Arena with surrounding trading and operational systems.
• Experience supporting business-critical production trading environments.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

• Initial 12-month contract with the possibility of extension.
