Senior Performance Test Engineer

• Support internal clients in the design, development, and execution of performance tests.
• Create clear, insightful, and decision-relevant test reports.
• Support internal clients in the design, development, and execution of synthetic monitors.
• Conduct code reviews for performance and synthetic monitors written in Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Advise and support colleagues from other departments in implementing their testing and monitoring requirements.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our test environments, methodologies, and automation strategy.
• Ensure a high-quality, stable, and maintainable test setup throughout the entire test lifecycle.

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable technical field (HF/FH/University).
• Several years of experience in performance testing, test automation, or software engineering, in an enterprise or banking/ financial environment.
• Hands-on experience with: Playwright, Grafana k6, CI/CD pipelines, (Bitbucket/Jenkins, GitLab) Test execution via Exense Step (a plus)
• Ability to independently develop tests using: Playwright (Java, TypeScript) & Grafana k6 (JavaScript)
• Experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD workflows using: Bitbucket / Jenkins & GitLab
• Solid understanding of system architectures, APIs, networks, and performance metrics
• Experience with monitoring and interpreting metrics (e.g., latency, throughput, resource usage) using tools such as: Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace
• Experience working with internal clients and cross-functional teams.
