Senior Project Lead – Management Accounting (Banking Transformation)

In this role, you will represent the Management Accounting function within a large-scale core banking transformation programme. You will act as the key interface between Finance and Technology, ensuring that business requirements are accurately translated into system and data solutions.

• Represent Management Accounting and Controlling in a major transformation programme
• Gather, analyse, and validate business requirements related to financial systems and data flows
• Perform impact assessments across Management Accounting processes
• Collaborate closely with IT and delivery teams to design and implement solutions
• Support testing phases to ensure alignment with business expectations
• Drive stakeholder communication and support change management activities

• 10+ years’ experience in banking, financial services, or management consulting
• Proven track record in finance transformation and/or core banking implementation programmes
• Strong expertise in Management Accounting, including P&L, cost allocation, and profitability analysis
• Solid understanding of financial data flows and integration with upstream systems (e.g. trading platforms, risk systems, core banking)
• Experience with Management Information Systems such as SAP S/4HANA or SAP BW
• Exposure to core banking platforms (e.g. Temenos) is advantageous
• Strong knowledge of financial products (e.g. structured products, OTC derivatives, corporate actions)
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Fluent in English; German is a plus
