Supply Chain Controller

Location: Zurich, Switzerland (hybrid: 2 days home office)

Overview

We are supporting an international organisation undergoing a major SAP-driven Finance Transformation and are looking for an experienced FP&A / Supply Chain Controlling Specialist to strengthen the team.

This role sits close to the business and plays a key part in improving financial visibility, supporting decision-making, and driving performance across the supply chain. You will work in a fast-paced, commodity-exposed environment, partnering closely with operational and commercial stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the ongoing SAP / Finance Transformation project, with a focus on controlling and reporting processes
• Act as a business partner to supply chain and commercial stakeholders, providing financial insights and recommendations
• Manage and support full planning cycles (budget, forecast, actuals)
• Perform detailed variance analysis and identify key business drivers
• Build and enhance financial models, including scenario analysis and sensitivity modelling
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to improve reporting transparency and decision-making
• Extract, analyse, and validate financial data from SAP (FI/CO)
• Contribute to continuous improvement of planning, reporting, and controlling processes

Profile

• 5–6 years of experience in FP&A, financial controlling, or commercial finance
• Strong background in supply chain controlling is essential
• Experience in a B2B manufacturing, trading, or commodity-driven environment
• Exposure to commodity-linked businesses (e.g. agriculture, energy, metals) is a strong advantage
• Proven ability to partner with non-finance stakeholders in operational or commercial settings
• Hands-on experience across budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Advanced skills in Power BI (dashboarding and reporting)
• Strong working knowledge of SAP FI/CO
• Excellent Excel modelling skills (scenario analysis, P&L modelling, sensitivity analysis)
• Experience with BPC, Anaplan, or similar planning tools is a plus
• Fluent in English
• Ability to start immediately
• CH/EU nationality or valid CH working permit
