About the client
For a client, a scaling start-up with dynamic environment, we are seeking a Field Application Engineer based in Switzerland to drive the technical success and adoption of our GNSS/GPS SaaS solutions across EMEA and beyond.
In this key role, you’ll work closely with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Engineering teams to help customers unlock the full potential of our technology. As one of the first FAEs in the region, you’ll serve as a trusted technical advisor—guiding system design, influencing engineering decisions, and solving complex technical challenges hands-on.
Job description
Pre-Sales Technical Engagement
- Collaborate with regional Sales to understand customer challenges and deliver impactful technical demos, workshops, and presentations.
- Design, execute, and support proof-of-concept (PoC) projects, engaging directly with customer engineering teams during the evaluation process.
- Advise on system architecture, deployment strategies, and integrations involving GNSS correction services, cloud-based workflows, and embedded or autonomy platforms.
- Provide guidance on scalable, high-precision positioning solutions and best practices for implementation.
- Support onboarding, integration, and ongoing adoption of our products through technical training, documentation, and continuous engagement.
- Serve as the technical link between customers and internal product/engineering teams to resolve issues and optimize performance.
- Champion customer success by ensuring solutions deliver lasting value and reliability.
- Work closely with global FAE counterparts and technical leaders in North America to align regional efforts and share best practices.
- Represent EMEA customers’ needs and insights within global product discussions and roadmaps.
- Contribute to internal initiatives like standardized solution frameworks, reusable demo assets, and technical enablement materials.
Requirements
- 2+ years in a customer-facing engineering or technical consulting role.
- 2+ years of experience working with hardware, software, or GNSS-based systems.
- Strong understanding of system integration, debugging, and end-to-end solution design.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical topics into clear, actionable insights.
- A collaborative, self-motivated mindset and passion for solving technical challenges in a fast-paced, global environment.
