About the client

Job description

We're currently looking for an experienced Business Analyst (BA) to support the implementation of improvements. The BA will undertake analysis of business processes and document business requirements for implementation in Findur.

The perfect candidate is an experienced Business Analyst, who understands how Findur works (how data is processed/stored in the system), has good knowledge of banking/central bank activities/general trade management flow and lifecycle. An individual with enough maturity to be able to manage stakeholders across different areas and levels to gather and consolidate requirements in the context of a complex project.

 

Tasks & Responsibilities:

·      Analyse and design business processes around trading applications.

·      Translate business requirements into business and technical specifications, employing best industry practice.

·      Interact with the relevant design teams to translate requirements into detailed system specifications.

·      Advise and participate in the development of test plans for business applications and the execution thereof.

·      Interacts with the other IT groups in the organisation for systems design, integration, standards and change management.

Requirements

·      At least five years' business analyst experience supporting business applications in a banking environment – including experience planning and running workshops and meetings independently. Producing materials in support of requirements gathering. (****)

·      In depth knowledge of Openlink– including its core modules such as trade capture, risk analysis, settlement, and reporting. Understand how integrates with other banking systems (e.g., accounting, risk management, and market data platforms). Good understanding of how the system functions. (****)

·      Ability to analyse business needs, challenge and distil into accurate and concise requirements documentation. Expertise in creating high-quality requirements documentation, including business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and user stories, is critical. (****)

·      A proven track record of participating in large, business-critical projects that delivered satisfaction to stakeholders. Participated in end-to-end project lifecycles, from initiation and requirements gathering to testing, deployment, and post-implementation support (****)

·      Be familiar with full trade transaction lifecycle, with a focus on Business Continuity Plan. (****)
