On behalf of our client, a leading Swiss-based organization, Swisslinx is seeking a strategic but also hands-on Head of Purchase to Pay (P2P) to lead and transform its end-to-end P2P function. This role is instrumental in shaping finance operations, improving spend control, and driving cross-functional collaboration within a digitally evolving environment.
This is an exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking leader to build a robust P2P framework that ensures operational excellence, governance, and scalability across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end Purchase-to-Pay process across the entire organization, ensuring alignment and efficiency from sourcing through to payment.
- Develop and implement global P2P strategies focused on both short-term performance and long-term transformation goals for the finance function.
- Address issues related to process performance, compliance, and technology usage in partnership with business leaders, operational heads, and other key stakeholders.
- Champion cross-functional collaboration, fostering strong relationships across finance, procurement, operations, and executive leadership.
- Drive adoption and successful implementation of digital initiatives, integrating automation and process enhancements throughout the P2P workflow.
- Serve as a change leader, ensuring stakeholder alignment and commitment to the strategic vision.
- Play a critical role in the ongoing evolution of finance operations, influencing decisions that support global business objectives.
Profile & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ operational experience across the full P2P lifecycle in a finance or procurement environment.
- Strong familiarity with regulatory, statutory, and legal requirements affecting procurement and financial operations.
- Solid hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA; experience with SAP Ariba is a plus.
- Deep understanding of Direct and Indirect procurement channels, with an emphasis on automation and digital procurement solutions.
- Demonstrated success in leading process transformation and navigating complex organizational structures.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage conflicting priorities, and influence senior stakeholders.
- Strong communication, change management, and project leadership skills.
- Fluency in German and English is required.
