Junior Data Scientist

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Junior Data Scientist to help manage and prepare economic and financial data for research use. The ideal candidate brings strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in how data supports economic thinking.

• Organize and clean large datasets from multiple sources
• Standardize and document data for easy use in research
• Run checks to ensure data is accurate and reliable
• Support and shape data to fit research needs

• Background in data science, statistics, or a related field (internship or early-career experience is welcome)
• Solid skills in Python, Matlab, SQL
• Comfortable working with numbers, patterns, and statistical methods
• Understanding of economics and financial markets is essential
• Knowledge of machine learning and data visualization is a plus
• Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required
