Lead Technical Developer

We’re supporting one of the most dynamic reinsurers in Europe, currently growing fast. As part of a major regulatory and actuarial reporting initiative, we’re looking for a Lead Technical Developer who is hands-on, solutions-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment

• Design and implement scalable solutions using Azure, Databricks, Python, Angular, and SQL Server
• Develop responsive, user-friendly interfaces and integrate third-party tools like ResQ
• Collaborate with cloud engineers and actuarial team members in a fast-paced agile environment
• Ensure compliance with audit, regulatory (e.g., FINMA), and financial closing standards
• Translate business needs into practical technical solutions and deliver end-to-end
• Participate in all development phases, from design and coding to testing and deployment

• 5–6 years of hands-on development experience in modern cloud environments
• Strong working knowledge of financial closing processes, audit trails, and regulatory expectations (FINMA experience is a plus)
• Experience working in agile, cross-functional setups
• You’re not afraid to get your hands dirty — this is not a pure architect role
• Good communicator, team player, and open to working with non-technical stakeholders (e.g., actuaries, finance)
• Fluent in English (written & spoken); international experience is a plus
