We’re looking for an experienced Observability Engineer to join a key cloud infrastructure initiative within a high-availability environment. You will design, implement, and optimize a comprehensive observability stack to ensure performance, reliability, and actionable visibility across complex systems.

• Observability Stack Design & Deployment:
• Build and maintain robust observability systems (logging, monitoring, tracing, alerting) tailored for modern cloud-native environments.
• Integrate these tools seamlessly with cloud infrastructure and services.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
• Use Terraform and similar tools to automate the provisioning and configuration of observability tooling.
• Monitoring Standards & Optimization:
• Define and enforce organization-wide observability standards.
• Continuously improve stack performance, reliability, and resource usage.
• End-to-End Monitoring:
• Deliver full-stack visibility through metrics, logs, and traces.
• Implement automated alerting for proactive issue detection and resolution.
• Collaboration & Communication:
• Work closely with DevOps, SRE, and development teams to align observability strategy with business goals.
• Translate technical metrics into clear insights for stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in infrastructure troubleshooting and IaC development using Terraform and Python
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Prometheus, Grafana, Alert Manager, Loki
  • PagerDuty or other incident/event management tools
  • CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub/GitLab CI/CD
  • Cloud platforms and container environments (OpenShift, Kubernetes)
• Deep understanding of observability best practices in distributed, cloud-native systems
• Structured, analytical mindset with a focus on automation and operational excellence
• Availability to work onsite five days per week in Bioggio, Ticino is a must
