Proprietary Trader

On behalf of our client, Swisslinx is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Proprietary Trader. In this role, you will be responsible for deploying the firm’s capital to execute high-conviction trades across various markets and asset classes. You will use a combination of discretionary and systematic strategies to generate consistent risk-adjusted returns, while adhering to the firm's risk management framework. This is a full-time, permanent on-site position.

• Execute short-term and long-term trades using the firm’s capital.
• Develop and refine trading strategies based on market analysis and data.
• Manage portfolio risk and maintain strict adherence to risk parameters.
• Monitor global financial markets and stay informed on macroeconomic trends.
• Collaborate with risk managers and other traders to optimize performance.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior traders or analysts.
• Maintain detailed records of trades, strategies, and performance metrics.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience in algorithmic or quantitative trading.
• Familiarity with trading regulations and compliance procedures.
• 5+ years of proprietary or institutional trading experience.
• Strong track record of consistent trading profitability.
• Deep understanding of financial markets, instruments, and trading platforms.
• High level of discipline, self-motivation, and decision-making ability.
• Excellent risk management and communication skills.
