As the premier supplier to our client, a leading commodities company based in Switzerland, Swisslinx is looking for a highly motivated individual to take on a challenging role as a Compliance Training and polices Officer for a 1-year maternity leave cover to start as soon as possible, onsite 4 days a week.
Our client is looking for someone with excellent English language skills, compliance training exposure as well as detail orient. The hiring manager would also like to receive a cover letter.
This role presents a one-year job opportunity with the possibility to be extended or transitioning to a permanent position based on organizational requirements
Key responsibilities:
- Independently develop, customise, and refresh digital trainings, in collaboration with the Subject Matter Experts and/or external vendors, to ensure content is tailored to the business and to the relevant audience (on topics like bribery and corruption, conflicts of interest, sanctions, GDPR, market conduct, code of conduct and whistleblowing), as well as ensure they reflect learning best practices
- Project manage projects assigned to you, acting as a main point of contact between external vendors and Subject Matter Experts, monitoring the progress of the project, ensuring deadlines are met and facilitating issue resolution
- Independently develop, review and refresh classroom training materials as well as awareness materials on topics like bribery and corruption, conflicts of interest, sanctions, and code of conduct, for accuracy, best practice, and user-friendliness
- Support in the development of annual board of directors training and board/executive management presentation
- Support the drafting of new and the refresh/review of existing Compliance policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, and manuals
The ideal candidate
- Has a high attention to detail
- Can multi-task
- Can work well both independently and in a team Demonstrates the ability to perform effectively both solo and as part of a group
- A Proactive, self-starter
Your background:
- Over five (5) years of experience working in a compliance training and/or compliance policy development role where a foundational
knowledge of compliance risks has been acquired (i.e. bribery corruption, conflicts of interest, whistleblowing, sanctions, data
protection)
- You must have anticorruption experience and training + policy drafting/preparation in an independent way
- Excellent command of proficiency in English written and spoken (native or C2 level)
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong Microsoft Office knowledge (especially Excel and MS Project)
- Strong project management skills
- Ideally, experience working for a large multinational corporation
- Holder of a Swiss work permit or CH/EU passport holder

I manage this role
