On behalf of one of our clients, an International Organization, Swisslinx is looking for a Senior Business Controller to join their local team in Zurich. You will be responsible for all financial planning and controlling of global events.
Your Mission:
• Assisting the company’s divisions, subsidiaries and organising committees in creating all budgets and forecasts for global events
• Partnering with project leaders for specific events
• Serving as a business partner for organising committees and local subsidiaries on all financial matters
• Ensuring accurate invoicing and bookkeeping related to events, for company divisions and subsidiaries
• Engaging in yearly and quarterly reviews of the budget assumption
• Ensuring compliance with company finance requirements concerning processes and budget structures
Your profile:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a finance role with strong controlling skills, specifically budgeting and forecasting
• Prior experience working with global events would be a strong asset
• Fluency in English is required, knowledge of Spanish, Portuguese, French or German is an advantage
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
• Proactive and dependable team collaborator
• Willingness to travel for extended periods, albeit infrequently
