Data & Analytics Architect

On behalf of our client, a leading private bank, Swisslinx are looking for an experienced Data & Analytics Architect to build the future-oriented data infrastructure and knowledge base for data, reporting, and AI solutions.

This is a permanent role and will be based at the office in Liechtenstein.

Responsibilities will include:
-Development and review of visions, strategies, roadmaps, reference models, standards and design patterns for data and analytics-based architectures to support current and future business activities
-Institutionalization of the data architecture principles and standards in cooperation with the IT architecture team in order to ensure a consistent, interoperable and scalable data architecture
-Development and review of solution architectures and implementation plans for data & analytics services as part of business and IT lifecycle projects
-Ensuring the correct and reliable implementation of data and analytics-based services in accordance with design and architecture standards and practices
-Documentation and communication of design decisions to responsible specialist committees and interdisciplinary teams
-Performing a technical leadership role in order to achieve a consensus between the participants about the proposed architectural designs
-Development of artifacts such as data domains, reference models, conceptual data models (ontologies, taxonomies), data pipelines, data flow diagrams to ensure quality, interoperability and consistency of the data
-Support of the service owner in the continuous quality assurance and further development of the data & analytics platform and services
-Holistic, solution-oriented and professional advice to our internal customers in the areas of enterprise knowledge graph, AI solutions, data warehouse, analytics and technology developments
-Evaluation, development and adaptation of the technology strategy and tool landscape for data & analytics services
-Co-development and design of the strategic Data & Analytics project

The successful candidate will bring:
-Completed degree or higher education in (business) computer science, data science, information science or a comparable discipline
-At least 5 years of experience in the field of data architecture for company-wide, data and analytics-based solutions and services, preferably in the banking environment
-Proven ability to analyze, design and develop data architecture roadmaps, implementation plans and solution architectures
-Experience in the design and implementation of data architecture principles, standards, guidelines and procedures
-Experience in the design and further development of data & analytics services and platforms, preferably based on semantic technologies
-In-depth understanding of data-related specialist topics - data architecture, data management & analytics, data lineage, data governance, data modelling, data standards, data storage methods
-Experience in testing project delivery objects with regard to completeness, quality and compliance with industrial and internal standards
-Experience in DevOps, Continuous Delivery, agile project methods, DataOps an advantage
-Knowledge of conceptual data modelling, enterprise knowledge graphs and AI solutions is an advantage
-Friendly and engaging demeanor paired with a high level of communication and consulting skills as well as a mediating solution orientation
-High level of commitment and initiative as well as a strong sense of responsibility
-Fluency in German and English
