About our client
Swisslinx is currently looking for a motivated front-end developer, ideally with back-end Java knowledge, for a contract opportunity in Zurich running 12 months (with a further extension possible) with one of our global banking clients. The start date for this role is January 2020.
Your tasks and mission
-Developing front and back-end applications for trade and order management and execution
-Maintaining existing components and developing new ones
-Assisting in CI testing and documentation updates
-Participating in the design and review of applications developed by the team
Your background
-You bring proven experience in front-end development (ideally, 5+ years) with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS
-Ideally, you have experience with Java 8 and Spring Boot on the back-end side
-Additional experience with REST, WebSockets, and low-latency platforms would be beneficial
-You are fluent in English
