For a rapidly growing and Swiss-based technology company, Swisslinx are looking for a Frontend Engineer, based in Baar, Switzerland. You will be working alongside an international team of people, and will be involved in various development projects to do with their frontend development. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who wants to work in a growing start-up environment and for someone with a passion for technology and design.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
-Be involved in projects to do with frontend development
-Actively contribute to their frontend strategy (increase delivery speed)
-Assist in building an end-to-end stack supporting their DLT-based proprietary business protocol modelling engine
-Work hand-in-hand with their Head of Frontend Engineering
-Able to make well informed decisions and actively participate in group discussions
Background and Experience:
-4+ years’ experience as a Frontend Engineer
-Experience working with vanilla JS, web API’s and web standards
-Hands-on experience with web technologies such as Angular, React and Vue
-Experience integrating with ReST API’s
-Enthusiastic about blockchain is preferable
-Passion for building libraries and API’s
-Interface design and usability
-Keen on creating robust and testable code
-Has excellent communication and cooperation skills
-Able to work under pressure
-Flexible, passionate and proactive team-player who wants to work in a high-skilled and flat structured environment
