On behalf of our client, a global oncology company with it’s headquarter in Basel, we are looking for an HR Operations Manager. This is a one year contract with the possibility for extension. We are looking for someone that would be able to start working as soon as possible.

Dive into the dynamic role of HR Operations Manager in Basel. Take the lead in shaping HR processes, harmonize with cross-functional teams, and elevate the employee journey through Workday enchantment!

Your mission:
- Serve as the first point of contact for employees, managers, and HR Business Partners in Switzerland, Europe, and New Markets
- Provide high-quality HR advice and guidance with a focus on excellent customer service
- Manage core HR processes including on-boarding, off-boarding, absence management, and benefit administration
- Offer subject matter expertise in HR processes, policies, and systems
- Support annual HR processes including compensation planning and talent management
- Participate in the design and testing of new Workday modules and enhancements
- Create and maintain high-quality Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Ensure compliance with appropriate data protection legislation

Your background:
- Significant, relevant experience in HR Operations in EMEA with deep expertise in Swiss Labor law
- Business fluency in English and German is a must
- A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in a similar role
- A degree in a related field is advantageous
- Strong working knowledge of Workday HR modules, including Core HR, Recruiting, and Onboarding
- Interest and understanding of general HR policies and procedures
- Strong customer service orientation with high integrity and confidentiality
- Growth mindset, open to re-thinking approaches to work for better customer experiences
- Ability to identify critical situations and escalate when necessary
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team
- Strong multitasking ability with attention to detail and sound time management
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook
