Our client is going through a major transformation by extending and aligning its IT business systems and growing its information technology function within a small/middle-sized organization. For this journey they are now looking for a Junior Oracle PL/SQL Developer. The successful applicant will be a valuable member in our Scrum development team and will be responsible to develop and enhance the core database functionality in PL/SQL & T-SQL of our most critical business applications.
Your daily tasks will be as follows:
- Assisting in Software Development: help in the development of software applications or components by participating in coding, testing, debugging, and documenting code under the guidance of senior developers.
- Working closely with cross-functional teams, and project managers, to ensure alignment with project goals and requirements.
- Assisting in identifying and resolving technical issues, bugs, or performance problems in existing software systems; help implement updates, patches, or enhancements to improve system functionality and performance.
- Contributing to the documentation of technical specifications, design patterns, and code documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintainability of software projects; in preparing reports or status updates on project progress.
- Following coding standards, best practices, and quality assurance processes established within the organization to ensure the delivery of high-quality, well-structured, and maintainable code as well as to security and compliance requirements.
Requirements:
- BSc in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or a related field.
- Broad knowledge and/or passion on data management
- Eager to learn!
