As the premier supplier to our international banking client in Basel, Swisslinx are looking for a Logistics Operator to support the rollout of equipment in the context of the ongoing modernisation project.

This is a rolling 9 month contract running with potential to extend up to five years.

The successful candidate will contribute to the project by assisting with registering hardware deliveries, managing stock, delivering and installing hardware to the users (e.g. replacing existing hardware in the office spaces).

This is a hands-on role involving some physical work (e.g. dealing with large pallets, picking up printers etc. carrying items between the two buildings. There will also be some tasks related to inventory management (e.g. stock checks, receiving deliveries, recording/data entry etc.).

Your responsibilities will include the following:

• Support Warehouse - Logistic and HW Project tasks
• Receipt -onboarding of deliveries in the system.
• Inventory management tasks.
• Internal distribution of IT material
• Disposal tasks
• Support IT roll out installation project.
• Support the Logistic team in warehouse tasks

An experienced data management professional with business analysis skills an understanding of personal data protection principles and regulations. We need a flexible individual with good stakeholder management skills, and an ability to pivot quickly (ablility to work across different topics and manage priorities).

In order to be considered for this role, you will possess the following skills and experience:
• Proven knowledge of the logistics sector with solid warehouse and storage experience.
• Inventory management experience.
• Solid Excel knowledge – ERP systems/ Service Now preferable
• Ability/certificate to use forklift/warehouse equipment nice to have
• Fluency in English and A1 German required to be able to liaise with delivery staff, suppliers etc.

Please note interviews would be conducted via video call (usually max two rounds), however the role is based 100% in Switzerland. Our client offers:
