For our client, a global leader within the Life Sciences industry, Swisslinx is seeking a highly motivated individual to take on a challenging role as a Payroll Manager. Job Title: Payroll Manager
Your mission:
- Manage and oversee third party payroll provider for employees based in Switzerland
- Instruct and control the payroll provider concerning all legal changes, non-legal changes and company internal adaptions
- Perform payroll-related functions under country and local laws
- Control the monthly payroll records from payroll provider and approve the payroll results
- Instructs Finance to issue payroll-related payments
- Processing of monthly, quarterly and yearly tasks
- Communicate with employees of all levels regarding payroll matters, including troubleshooting of issues
- Cooperate with various external and internal partners
- Provide guidance, instruction, direction and leadership to a mid-sized team in Switzerland
Key requirements:
- Extensive experience as a payroll manager
- Experience with managing small to mid-sized team
- Previous experience with third party payroll provider
- Excellent knowledge of Swiss payroll specificities and best practices
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with ever-changing priorities
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal in German and English
