Out global banking client is looking for a Security Engineer to join their international team that specialises in Log Management and Cyber Security Analytics. The is a contract position based in Zurich and will require complete onsite work with litle or no option to work remotely . Responsibilities:
• Analyze requirements and design technical solutions based on those requirements, for the Splunk Global Log Management platform
• Create test plans based on requirements
• Build and test solutions in a pre-production environment
• Document test results, designs, and operational manuals for the solutions
• Provide third-level support to Production operations teams as necessary
Essential skills:
• Bachelor degree in computer science or information technology.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience and excellent skills in:
• Splunk system administration and engineering, particularly search head clustering
• ETL process and data processing
• Configuration management
• Automation (systems management, monitoring and testing)
• Programming experience (Python, JavaScript)
• User-facing process design and documentation
Desired skills:
• Linux systems administration and engineering
• Load balancing technologies (eg. HAProxy, NGINX)
• Container Technologies (eg. Docker, Kubernetes)
• Understanding of software development methodologies and lifecycle
• Working experience as a member of a Scrum team
