Security Engineer
On behalf of our client, a successful scale up technology business, Swisslinx are looking for a Security Engineer with Java skills to manage complex private and public facing systems in the cloud.
Within this team, success is built on process-oriented distributed technology, an focused vision and strategy, an international team of business and technology experts, a cross-industry customer base, and a strong external partner network.
This is a permanent opportunity in Baar, Switzerland.
Responsibilities will include:
-Lead the strategy to secure the applications built for customers
-Design and implement security tools that we can reuse in all products
-Contribute with the devops team to secure all of our continuous integration and continuous deployment tool-chain in the cloud
-Educate our product and software engineers as well as our customers to apply best practices for creating and managing secure software
-Manage client priorities and steer product development
-Closely interact with IT experts and business representatives
-Feed requirements back into the development of our core platform
The successful candidate will have:
-A university degree or equivalent in Sciences, Business Administration or related fields
-A security engineering background
-Proven experience contributing to the security of software systems
-Experience integrating cloud-based with on-premise systems
-Experience with conducting penetration testing with customer systems
- Exposure and knowledge of the JVM stack and kotlin
-Ideally, experience with complex topics such as (or similar to) Oauth2 claims, party/user based access, virtual private clouds
-Affinity with smart contracts or distributed ledger technology would be highly beneficial
-Appetite to work in a team
-A passion for blockchain topics
Our client is able to carry out a fully remote recruitment process. Although they are looking for somebody to work full-time on site in Zug, due to Coronavirus restrictions they are happy to discuss starting the position on a remote basis until the situation improves.
