On behalf of our client, a well-established insurance company, Swisslinx is currently looking for a Senior Java Developer to join an exciting permanent job opportunity in Zurich.
Your responsibilities:
- Implementation of business requirements in Java across all phases of the development process
- Analysis, design, implementation and testing of new components
- Collaboration and leading role (technical lead) in complex projects
- Maintenance and optimization of existing components, participation in the introduction of major releases
Your background:
- Bachelor in Computer Science or comparable education
- At least five years of experience in application development
- Several years of experience with Eclipse, Java, SQL
- Experience with service-oriented system architectures (including REST or SOAP)
- Conceptual thinking and a feeling for the needs of project partners
- Business fluent German and good knowledge of English
