Senior IT Project Manager – Private Banking
On behalf of our client, a private Swiss bank, Swisslinx are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to lead a very complex and cross divisional transaction monitoring project across regional businesses.
This will be a 12-month initial contract with a strong possibility for extension.
Responsibilities will include:
-Planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and closing of project
-Ensure that project is delivered on-time, within scope and budget
-Developing project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
-Ensure resource availability and allocation
-Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
-Report and escalate to management as needed
-Manage relationship with various stakeholder globally
-Perform risk management to minimize project risks
-Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
The successful candidate will bring:
-Over 10 years of Project Management experience in international business environments
-Extensive experience leading implementation projects of regulatory topics in private banking
-Stong experience of leading projects across AML or Transaction Monitoring domains
-Excellent Project Management skills including experience in agile and waterfall methodologies
-Proficient on key Swiss and European regulations and their impact onto the advisory value chain, in particular from a product distribution and suitability perspective
-Familiarity with regulatory trends in Singapore and Hong Kong
-Demonstrated experience in leading change across multiple functions on a global basis
-Experience in the banking product & services within private bank, in particular in financial instruments and the associated operational processes such as corporate actions
-Strong communication skills to all relevant stakeholders and subject matter experts
-Fluency in both English and German
