As the premier supplier to our client, a leading commodity trading house headquarter in Switzerland, Swisslinx is looking for a highly motivated individual to take on a challenging role as a Senior Software Engineer/Technical Product Manager, permanent.
Our client is looking for a candidate who is willing to be onsite 100% and can develop software using Microsoft stack and .Net technologies as well as cloud components such as Azure.
As a Technical Product Manager with coding skills and Azure knowledge, you will be the bridge between business needs and technical possibilities. You will drive the conception, development, and launch of innovative products while leveraging your coding expertise and deep understanding of the Microsoft Azure platform. You will work closely with engineering, financing, risk and trading sales teams to ensure products are aligned with business goals, technically feasible, and exceed customer expectations.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and architect software solutions (back-end and front-end)
- Define requirements together with internal stakeholders
- Participate in the entire software development life-cycle (design, implementation, test, release) and ensure that the development
process is followed.
- Develop and support the necessary infrastructure for software development (Build servers/definitions, release pipeline)
- Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
- Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
- Maintain existing and newly developed software and interface business critical 3rd party software
Your background:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in product management or a related field, with at least 2 years demonstrating technical product expertise.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
- Proficient coding skills in at least one relevant programming language (e.g., Python, C#).
- In-depth knowledge of Azure platform services and their application for product development.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical
audiences.
- Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions based on technical insights.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Implementing cloud solutions using Azure components (Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Function apps, API Management Service,
etc) would be considered as a plus
- Experience in Azure DevOps (implementing CI/CD pipelines) would be considered as a plus
- Onsite 100% is needed for this role
