About out client:
On behalf of our client, a global leader within the Pharmaceutical Industry, Swisslinx is currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer. This is a contracting opportunity to initially run for 12 months with a great opportunity for an extension.
Your responsibilities:
- Perform software development tasks as per specifications.
- Act as the subject matter expert for assigned technical area of responsibility.
- Draft solutions for highly complex software tasks.
- Independent problem solving / implementation of solutions in subsidiary assignments. Specification, estimation, design, implementation, testing of these assignments.
- Advise the project team on tradeoffs between software design decisions and specification decisions.
Your background:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related degree
- Solid experience in Medical Devices
- 8+ years of experience in software development with Microsoft Technologies, C# and .NET.
- Experience in cloud platforms, Microsoft Azure. You have successfully designed, launched and maintained cloud based solutions.
- Conversational German.
- Fluency in English, written and verbal.
