On behalf of our client, a leading bio-pharmaceutical company, we are looking for a Payroll Manager responsible for payroll processing for large volume, multiple entity & complex payrolls.
Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Bern
Workload: 100%
Work type: Hybrid work policy (2 days office presence per week required)
Duration: 6 months’ (extension possible)
Your mission:
- Ensure that payrolls are processed accurately, on time and in accordance with all federal, state, canton, local and regulatory
requirements.
- Acting as the first point of escalation for all payroll related matters, responds to complex employee payroll queries escalated from
the Service Centre.
- Interpret policies and regulation regarding leaves, disability, allowances, one-time payments, garnishments etc. and works
closely with payroll vendors to ensure they are applied through payroll and settled correctly.
- Identify and work together with the Global Payroll Process Lead to implement process improvement within assigned payrolls.
- Work together with the Global Compliance & Audit Lead.
- Ensure that the company meets its compliance with all federal/state, and regulatory requirements.
Your background:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR/Accounting or Diploma in payroll is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in Payroll with processing end to end payroll for multiple countries with more than 1500 employee’s
total.
- Exposure to TLM, taxation, audit and compliance would be a plus.
- Strong payroll team management, stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong leadership and engagement. High level analytical and problem-solving capability. Strong process management and business
process analysis competencies and demonstrated ability to support complex HR/Payroll models.
