On behalf of our client, a global investment firm with a base near Zurich, Swisslinx is looking for a driven and committed Hedge Fund Operations to join their team on a permanent basis.
Your Responsibilities;
-Participate in the booking of trades and instrument set up in all products
-Monitoring and timely resolution of queries sent by the Portfolio Managers
-Prepare reconciliations, settlements and lifecycle event
-Expiry processing and corporate actions
-Run the firms FX hedging processes on a daily basis
-Daily review of the estimate P&L compared to the final one and understanding of differences
Your Skills;
-3 to 5 years of relevant experience gained within a hedge fund or investment bank
-Sound knowledge of full product life cycle, ideally across multiple products with knowledge at minimum of one product (equities, futures, FX, bonds, interest rate derivatives and credit derivatives)
-Great interpersonal skills with a willingness to learn and an innovative approach
-Fluency in English is a must and good command of French is required
-Knowledge of SQL and Macros/VBA is a plus
