On behalf of our client, a leading Alternative Investment firm, Swisslinx is seeking an Infrastructure Expert to join the European Private Infrastructure team with a base in the Zurich area.
As part of a global team, you will be leading portfolio management activities as well as taking responsibility for the operational day to day activity of your team. Working closely with the investment team, you will work to attract and identify attractive investment opportunities from a variety of verticals within the Infrastructure sector (transport, energy, renewables, water, amongst others).
Your responsibilities will include:
-Implementation of value creation plans in close collaboration with the deal team
-Active involvement in strategic plans and identification of attractive value creation initiatives
-Supporting the due diligence of new opportunities from on-boarding to post-investment
-Proactive engagement with senior management team, board members and service providers
-Coordination of activity related to product reporting, monitoring investments, market research and marketing efforts
-Foster positive and long lasting relationships internally and externally
-A clear sense of motivation and desire to deliver vital infrastructure investments
In order to succeed in such a role, our client requires the following:
-Top academic credentials in Finance and/or Engineering
-A minimum of 15 years of relevant work experience working for an infrastructure business
-Experience in infrastructure investments and in-depth knowledge of the industry
-A thorough and deep understanding of the infrastructure business ideally coupled with some time spent within a Consulting firm to fully understand the lifecycle and project management aspect of such an opportunity
-Commitment to the highest standards of integrity and ethics
-Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to engage and debate across levels of seniority within the business
-Ability to lead and inspire a team, whilst maintaining a very hands on approach to the daily work
