Our client is a Swiss based investor in healthcare companies with an entrepreneurial investment team. To strengthen their investor relations and communication activities, they are looking for a dynamic, entrepreneurial marketeer with strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent project management skills and attention to detail.
Reporting to the CEO, your role & responsibilities are as follows:
• Investor Relations
o Assist in formulation of fundraising plans, create presentations, marketing and due diligence materials (e.g., PPMs, DDQ, fact sheets) and keep them up to date
o Manage prospective investor CRM database (eFront), investor preparation, lead funnel generation up to follow-up on fundraising progress to ensure successful completion of fundraising
o Support on fundraising conferences and roadshows as well as due diligence coordination and related data preparation
o Responsible for the coordination of LP reports, participation in the preparation of quarterly and annual reports while ensuring their look and feel is in line with brand guidelines
o Preparation and coordination of key events, e.g. the annual investor meeting, etc.
o Dealing with investor requests for information in a timely manner and data room maintenance
o Assist investor relations maintenance, including receiving investor visits, and maintaining existing investor relationships on a regular basis in the form of meetings and conference calls;
o Identify and develop new investors and continuously maintain, update and expand investor CRM data base
o Collect information about the industry and the investor market, conduct preliminary research and analysis, and provide decision-making reference for partners
• Marketing & Communications
o Managing and executing a comprehensive calendar of communications, including content articles, research, blog posts, social media (esp. LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook), thought pieces that align with strategic themes
o Monitoring and managing the website and social presence, as well as keeping updated online community spaces relevant to media and entrepreneur communities
o Managing and creating engaging text, image, and video content that reflects the high quality and voice of the brand, in conjunction with the brand guidelines established by the head office
o Crafting and sending regular segment-targeted newsletters with company updates to stakeholder audiences, coordinating to ensure brand consistency
o In charge of ensuring timely and satisfactory correspondence with all external stakeholders
o Conduct business intelligence on competition, investor trends to ensure that the firm is always optimally positioned in the market
o Monitoring news alerts, both from technology publications and portfolio companies, to remain informed of new activities of relevance to wider teams
o Joining social media groups and professional platforms to monitor industry-related topics
o Constantly helping us to innovate in our thinking in relation to the way we work
Your Profile:
• Excellent academic record in Business, Finance, Economics, or other related disciplines. Ideally complemented with a CFA or MBA.
• Minimum 5 years work experience gained in PE/VC fund placement / fundraising, investor relations or transaction services
• Deep knowledge of the mindset of potential investors such as institutional investors and family offices
• Good understanding of Venture Capital and Private Equity industry and closed-end fund strategies; familiar with healthcare investing sector a plus
• Suitable candidates will need to demonstrate strong analytical ability combined with excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• A high level of attention to detail and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a very high quality of output
• Confident communicator with excellent people skills
• Highly organized, with proven project management, planning and execution capabilities
• Strong experience with CRM databases (ideally with eFront) and PowerPoint/Word/Excel
• Strong insight, reaction and communication skills, willing to understand the company's development strategy and corporate culture deeply
• Ability to deeply understand, timely respond and effectively guide investors and media needs, strong activity planning ability
• A demonstrable commitment to keeping abreast of the technology profession and a high proficiency in digital marketing capabilities and experiences
• Demonstrate a high level of professional integrity, emotional intelligence and network-building and maintaining skills
• Presentable and energetic personality, a quick learner and good listener with a can-do attitude who is disciplined, self-driven and result oriented
Languages: Both German and impeccable English (written and verbal) will be required.
